Prof. Dunklee has over 40 years experience as a broadcaster and teacher. He has worked as a news reporter, news director, program director, disc jockey, and talk show host on radio, TV and cable. Among the stations he has worked at are WELI in New Haven; WABC and WMCA in New York; and WMEX and WWEL in Boston. Dunklee's work has been published in the New York Times, Hartford Courant, New Haven Register, The Communicator, and Quill, national magazine of the Society of Professional Journalists. He is a member of the board of directors and a past president of the Connecticut Chapter of SPJ. He is a member of the Society's national ethics committee. He has been a source for numerous articles and books about various aspects of journalism. He conducts ethics seminars and writing workshops for professional journalists.
